We assume if you're reading this, that you are agreeing to sign this visual waiver. In Your Grave is heavy, but this is by far the heaviest song we present you with. With three separate tempo changes, you can only imagine we get slower every time. With each time we slow down, you only feel yourself getting angrier as time slowly passes.
This is one of those songs where you need to be very mindful where you choose to stand in the crowd. We can't guarantee safety, as this track will invoke feelings of rage. Fists will fly, and blood will boil. For only two minutes and forty one seconds, the tune packs quite the punch. Almost like the small angry person everybody is afraid to fight.
You start with one of our signature intros. Toms and snares banging, setting the tension. Chugging guitars and bass to accompany the drums only add onto the feeling of rage. While getting ready for the ride, a haunting guitar lead shadows over your ears.
One of our staple sound verses is what comes next. A short build up brings you to the next chapter of our little adventure we share together. Slamming guitars, bass, and drums come right out of the gates with vocals that just make you feel feelings that you might have difficulties processing.
With a snare drum and china cymbal back-to-back rolling combo, you are hit with the first tempo change. We can just call this section the chorus. Listen closely, because these lyrics aren't just to sing along with. They are for you to remember, and soak in and carry with you for when you might need it else where. The chromatic riffs with the slapping drums set you up for an attack of sorts. First half is nice and fast, but slows down on the drums to start letting you know that we are about to shift gears.
Verse #2 approaches with a little bit more openess. A haunting instrumental of sorts comes back in action with a little less vocals. This is the part where you can't help but to bob your head and cross your arms. You wont be able to help but to feel tough, and ready to fight the next person who bumps into you or even just looks at you the wrong way.
We are now approaching our first downshift. Screeching guitars take you by the hand while driving drums force you into a very aggressive direction. Ignorant lyrics start to brainwash you as you subcutaneously get ready for an even heavier breakdown. Yes, you read that right, the tempo downshifts just one more time. We want to make sure we can to appeal to multiple "core" type fans. So if you like to jump and headbang, we got you covered. If you just want to fight somebody and just have some anger therapy, then this last break down will be just your cup of tea.
Just to stay on track, we reintroduce the roots of the song. The chorus comes right back, and yet, it feels so right. Usually people end their tracks once they reached the heaviest point of the song, but we couldn't help but to remind the listener that sometimes, a heavy-ass break down just needs a little bit of contrast to make you appreciate the smaller, finer things in life.
