Today, we wanted to take a moment to address something important: our absence from the music scene in the past few months.

First and foremost, we want to apologize from the bottom of our hearts for not being as active as we usually are. We know you've been eagerly waiting for updates, shows, and fresh content, and we feel truly sorry for the disappointment it may have caused.

However, we want you to know that this period of silence wasn't in vain. We've been laboring behind the scenes, pouring our hearts and souls into something that we're extremely proud of: our brand new EP!

You see, creating music is an intricate and time-consuming process, and we wanted to ensure that every note, lyric, and melody was just right for you. We wanted this EP to be a reflection of our growth as artists and a testament to the passion we share for our craft.

The creative journey we embarked upon for this EP took us to places we hadn't explored before, both musically and emotionally. We dove deep into our hearts, seeking inspiration from the highs and lows of life, and channeled those experiences into the songs you'll soon get to hear.

As a result, we believe we've crafted something truly special, something that captures the essence of who we are and what we stand for as a band. We can't wait to share these tracks with all of you and to connect with you through the language of music once again.

So, thank you for sticking by us during this period of introspection and creation. It has only been four days since we released the song on YouTube, and we already have 800 likes and over 9,000 views. We are absolutely blown away by the positive feedback.

We owe much of our success to Ronnie Garcia and Clayton Blue over at Bamboo Audio. There's nothing quite like the energy that surges through the air when the audience is packed, the lights are flashing, and the music is blaring. The feeling of being on stage, with hundreds of screaming fans cheering you on, is a rush that can't be matched.

And when you add in the mosh pits and hardcore dancers going nuts, the experience becomes even more amazing. The sight of the crowd jumping and dancing in sync to the music, with sweat and passion pouring out of every pore, is truly awe-inspiring. The energy of the crowd feeds the band, and in turn, the band feeds the crowd. It's a symbiotic relationship that creates an unforgettable experience.

The touring bands that share the stage only add to the excitement. There's a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose among musicians that is difficult to explain. Each band wants to give their best performance possible, and the energy in the room is electric as each one takes their turn on stage.

At the end of the night, when the final notes have been played and the lights come up, the feeling of accomplishment is overwhelming. To have given everything you have to an audience that loves and appreciates your music is an incredible feeling. And for the fans, the experience of seeing their favorite bands in person, surrounded by like-minded individuals, is nothing short of magical.

Thank you too Bodysnatcher, Angelmaker, Paleface, and Distant for having us be a part of such a wonderful show!
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/71733632023-03-16T00:00:00-06:002023-03-17T07:24:20-06:00We Covered One Jump Ahead From Aladdin!
We're participating in Ghost Media Entertainment's Disney Goes Deathcore competition. However, if we had to pick our top 5 bands that have influenced us, they would have to be:

1. Rex-

Is a deathcore / down-tempo hardcore band from Houston in Texas. During the writing of establishment and really the whole Enemy Lines EP. Rex was a constant go to for inspiration. The vocals are slamming, and the riffs just make you want to punch someone. I love how heavy and slow they are but without it losing any hype. Definitely check out this band if you haven't!

2. Kublai Khan-

Is an American hardcore/metalcore band from Sherman, Texas. During the writing of Graveyard songs, we wanted to pick up the pace a bit with our music. We wanted to add more blast beats and two step hardcore sections and who better to draw inspiration from then the masters themselves. This is a band that has to be on your playlist!

3. Yüth Forever-

Is a deathcore band from Oswego, Illinois. They are definitely unmatched when it comes to song writing. The songs are so heavy, but they have these awesome sections where they just take it down a notch. Really adding to the contrast between the heavy and the lighter sections. Its definitely something we try to do in Red Dust and some of our other songs with our Electonic sections.

4. Bring Me the Horizon-

Are a British rock band, formed in Sheffield in 2004. This band has definitely had a huge impact in our lives. Suicide Season actually being the first cd our vocalist ever bought actually. The growth and development this band has gone through is amazing. They are able to bring so many outside elements into their music. They are definetly an inspuration to us to keep trying new things. There is not a one fit formula for a song and that's what makes music so amazing.

5. Traitors-

Are a deathcore band, formed in 2013 in Tampa, Florida. Traitors has always stood out to us. Being friends with Stephen the drummer and hearing his insight into the industry really gave us the drive to be a band. We knew it would be hard however hearing stories from people that can make it work gave us hope. This bands work ethic and music are just next level.

In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/71550532023-02-16T08:57:55-07:002023-02-16T12:16:22-07:00Total Deathcore Disney Cover Contest Postponed
A little heads up for everyone. Are you a millennial that’s living vicariously through your music tastes to mask the fact that you are growing up? If you’ve answered yes to both, if at least not one of these questions, then we have some good news for you.

We are entering into a Disney song Deathcover cover contest. And with your support, we can rise to the top of the ranks. We sadly can’t tell you which song just quite yet sadly. In just one day, we were able to restructure and compose our ripping drum tracks with Jose. Jake and Connor threw down some epic and hellish riffage not only on guitar, but bass as well.

We are having the pleasure of having our demos and pre-pros our very own Ronnie Garcia from Bamboo Audio. Sharing a space with our last producer, Clayton Blue. This studio is a powerhouse of talent and we are graced to have Ronnie assist us with production as well as laying down some killer guitar tracks.

This experience has been one of our best studio experiences yet. If we aren’t mistaken, this is our first studio session writing as a band. The Idea was delivered and transcribed ever so graciously. Coming into the studio with demos ready really helped the writing process. We will tell you now, it’s not easy to cover a Disney song.

With so many different tempo changes and even time signature changes, it was hard to keep our writing to the grid. The challenge really put our song writing skills and regardless if we win or not, we are so proud to be able to accomplish the full instrumental in one day. WIth a full band, many would say there’s too many cooks in the kitchen. In this case, there was definitely a sweet spot and fine balance of contribution, suggestion make and idea sharing.

We are happy to have a banger on our hands regardless of the outcome and results of the contest. To be honest, if things don’t go our way, we may or may not change the lyrics, change the tempo, possibly the tuning, and there you have it, a brand new single. It’s true enough to the original, but heavy enough to make a whole new song out of, that you would never tell it was based off a cover. So save this information now before we update our articles and take this one down. Because this will soon be insider information.

We are very honored and would like to thank Total Deathcore from the bottom of our hearts to let us be a part of this experience. We are always happy for a little friendly competition. And even happier to see new emerging bands with so much talent that deserve more recognition. Who knows, maybe we will end up playing or even touring with the other participating groups.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/71502362023-01-27T16:50:00-07:002023-02-07T16:41:45-07:00Bodysnatcher, Angelmaker, Distant, PaleFace (CH), In Your Grave @ The Complex in SLC, UTAH
JRC Events Presents:

From the way music is recorded, produced, and distributed, to the way it is consumed and experienced, technology has been a driving force behind the rapid evolution of the music industry over the past few decades.

In the recording studio, technology has allowed musicians to create and produce music with greater ease and flexibility. Digital audio workstations (DAWs) have replaced analog tape machines, giving musicians the ability to record, edit, and mix music on their computers. This has dramatically reduced the time and cost involved in the recording process, allowing musicians to experiment and take risks in their music making.

Music production has also been revolutionized by technology, with the rise of virtual instruments, plugins, and other tools. Musicians can now create sounds and textures that were previously only possible in large recording studios. This has expanded the creative possibilities for music makers and allowed for the development of new and innovative music genres.

Distribution of music has also been revolutionized by technology. With the rise of the internet and the growth of digital music platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud, music can now be easily and quickly distributed to millions of people around the world. This has opened up new opportunities for independent artists and has challenged the traditional music industry model.

Music consumption has also been dramatically changed by technology. Streaming services have replaced physical music formats like CDs and cassette tapes, allowing people to access vast libraries of music from anywhere in the world. Music fans can now discover new music, connect with their favorite artists, and attend virtual concerts from the comfort of their own homes.

In conclusion, technology has played a massive role in shaping the modern music industry. It has allowed musicians to create, produce, and distribute music in new and innovative ways, and has revolutionized the way music is consumed and experienced. As technology continues to advance, it will be interesting to see how the music industry evolves and adapts to these changes.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/71550772022-12-23T09:00:00-07:002023-02-16T11:39:06-07:00Lyrics for Sick
I'm lost inside of my head I'm hurt and I'm starting to dread

There's nothing left for me here

So how long will it take for you to forgive me

I don't know anything you made for me

I'm just another piece of shit you let be

What does it mean if were meant to die

The days go by your losing time

What does it mean if it's just a lie

Sick, sick so fucking sick

To the burden I bear I fucking submit

Sick, sick so fucking sick

Counting down the days till I cease to exist

The days go by your losing time

What does it mean if it's just a lie

Watch your eyes roll back

The end to the thoughts of my own mind erasing

Or is this built delusion Mass confusion

This illusion I know this can’t be the end

Now That I know that this is built around the misery

And I know I can’t take it I don’t know what’s gotten into me URRGGHHHH...

Sick, sick so fucking sick

To the burden I bear I fucking submit

Sick, sick so fucking sick

Counting down the days till I cease to exist

Sick, sick
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/71262862022-12-21T09:00:37-07:002023-02-07T14:18:33-07:00Jose Bardales's Gear Breakdown (Drums)
We always get asked at every show what our drummer is rocking on his kit.
The IYG crew has admittingly been a little silent lately. It doesn’t mean that we haven’t been working on some new content for our fans. We have a new single on the way, and it’s a bit more experimental than some of the tunes we’ve released in the past. This single doesn’t sound so much like our prior releases, but it’s easily just as epic.

Without giving too much away, we’ll give you a little text based behind the scenes. We have our locations decided out in Fremont, Utah. Giving us plenty of empty roads for some beautiful driving scenes. Why driving scenes you ask? You will have to listen to the single when it comes out. At that point, you should be able to hear the theme and what it requires.

We have managed to pull off some pristine videos with minimal tools and little to no props. For once, we finally have an established location at a rented-out movie theater. We are aware that we have not really had story lines implemented, but we are finally happy to bring an actual plot to the table.

We’ll go light on the details of the story board. We don’t want to spoil the surprise. Just know that we are traveling far and wide and getting a team rounded up to put a production together to really catch your attention. This video will also be a testament to our new members in the IYG crew. You may not recognize the new faces once introduced, but we think you’ll be delighted when you hear that they are here to stay.

Share it with your friends. Heck, share it with your family. We know that bringing up our new video is a better dinner topic than politics. A lot of time, preparation and dedication is going into this. So, we appreciate every second of watch time that we receive. We are really trying to amp up our music as well as video skills. And would be honored if you could share this experience with us in embracing a new music motion film into existence.

Tyler Bromberg (Guitarist of Saint Raven) is an underdog in the music video scene. Has come out of nowhere but has already recorded many projects in our home state. Making videos for groups like Chronic Trigger, Alpine loop and even his own band, Saint Raven. We are honored to be working with him again as he is the direct/videographer of our last music video for “Sick.”

We sincerely hope you enjoy it. We really tried to spice things up with this next single and thought a music video was well deserved. All shares and likes are always appreciated. Don't hesitate to leave any comments, even if they aren’t so positive. We love constructive criticism and are always open to new ideas. Thank you all for your support and for the time you invest into our group.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/71039372022-11-12T17:00:00-07:002022-11-16T17:10:36-07:00Official New Bassist
When we tell you we had a new team of music athletes, we weren’t joking. Known for his guitar work in Dethrone the Sovereign, a technical deathcore group based in Salt Lake City, Utah. His credentials run deeper than most metal musicians. Being honored is an understatement when it comes to expressing how ecstatic we are to have him in the IYG family.

He teaches guitar on the side both privately and through a reputable music company. So, you already know he means business. That’s not including the fact that he has a bachelor's in jazz performance. So, you can probably imagine we are eager to start incorporating his writing styles and ideas into our own.

Just because he’s a guitarist on the side, doesn’t mean that he’s not fit for the job. Bass guitar is just as important as regular guitar, so it’s not a job that just anyone can pick up. Conner employs his musical expertise, ear and input to make the music sound as good as possible regarding who he’s jamming with.

We are excited to incorporate his jazz background. And just as excited to incorporate his current Deathcore styles on top. The possibilities were already endless, but with these new members, the possibilities expand only that much more. Just because he’s on the bass doesn’t mean he doesn’t shred. In Your Grave bass lines are just as vital as their guitar riffs. Only a few are fit for the job. The blending of styles between old and new members is a recipe for new and improved tunes. So, because of that, it’s an honor to announce him as one of the newest members of the IYG crew.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/71039362022-11-09T17:00:00-07:002022-11-16T17:09:47-07:00Official New Guitarist
It’s been a long and winding road. 2023 approaches every one of us slowly. With the new year, it warms our hearts to announce some new members. We were able to test out the waters at Rivera Festival in Myrtle Beach, Oregon with one of our new guitarists on a weekend run. The fans, as well as the band, were not disappointed. And couldn’t even tell it was a new member with how solid their playing was.

The guitarist we are referring to is Jake Collier. He’s a guitar addict and can shred any genre you throw his way. The last band he was in was Moonteeth, a Salt Lake City, Utah metalcore act. Moonteeth is on the up and up and show no signs of stopping. Making us Utahns proud, and IYG even prouder to have their old guitarist as a new member. We, of course, love Moonteeth and wish them the best of luck going forward. We have played many shows with them and hope to play many more.

He has also been in other bands like No Company, Beyond Exile, and Amorous, another Salt Lake City Deathcore staple. So much talent and experience for just one person is nothing but an honor to have included in our musical ventures. He has stage time experience as well as studio skills. He’s the one-man-machine we couldn't be more grateful to have.

This born and raised Utahn brings such a versatile element to the table with his multiple inspirations. Spannin from 90’s groups like Suicidal Tendencies all the way to bands like Whitechapel, Brand of Sacrifice, Spite and everywhere in between. Don’t let his skills trick you though. He may shred, but he really is a simple man. When he’s not melting faces, he likes to play video games, go fishing, or hiking. And we can’t be anymore excited to announce him to be a part of the IYG family.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/71039392022-11-05T17:00:00-06:002022-11-16T17:14:21-07:00Out With the Old, In with the New
Don’t go and think that we have forgotten about our merch store. If you haven’t already noticed, we have a somewhat revolving door of merch. Constantly adding new merch and new designs, while simultaneously scrapping and getting rid of the old designs. Some would call it a collectors paradise.

1st is the Red Forest Short Sleeve T-shirt. A black and red barcode design with our logo listed. We know it’s getting cold, so this is a good piece to snatch before we take it off for the winter season. Express your support and show our name loud and proud while at the same time, showing the public you have a good taste in clothing.

The 2nd piece of new merch is our “Death Comes” long sleeve. This is a new classy long sleeve that we are so happy to announce. It's a shirt of class and the old English art style is one that any fan can digest. This graphic is not so in your face, but will have your friends and family asking you to look at your shirt and ask you where you got it from.

As mentioned before, we swap designs pretty fast. Especially if they are holiday themed. Our Halloween Kills hoodie is a Halloween exclusive. So as you can imagine, we will be replacing this design any day now. So collect it before it’s banished out of existence.

Next is our hand-and-dagger hoodie. This one is a bit more on the classier side. For the cultured types who know what good style is, while also trying to keep things simple. It’s by far one of our more mature designs. And is great for tattoo lovers, sailors, and the hardcore crowd.

Last but not least is our two new pairs of shorts. We thought it would be such a good idea to have both graphics on one pair, so we decided to split them into two separate designs. If you want to strongly support and show your love publicly, then we have our shorts with our text logo on them. And if you hate to read, or more on the artsy side, then we have our new logo graphic pair of shorts that show our new cymbal, without any text. So you will love these truly no matter who you are.

If you have any special requests, please don’t hesitate to ask. We listen to and respect our fans on a deeper level. And would not be here today if we had not received the support that we have. We may not always be able to accommodate the old merch designs, but we’ll at least hear you out for any special requests. Or if you have heard about any merch we sell only live and not on our website that you are aware of, let us know if there’s something you want us to search for.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/71039512022-10-05T17:30:00-06:002022-11-16T17:16:15-07:00New Show Announcement W/ Varials, Boundaries, Orthodox, and Distinguisher
November 1st of 2022 was quite the monumental date for the IYG Crew. It’s one thing to headline shows, tours, and play for some reputable names. It’s another thing to be opening up for one of the bands that inspired the musical project that’s opening up for them. That’s right, IYG and Varials on the same show package. And that’s not including the other amazing acts that played that night.

To say that this show “popped off” is an understatement. For an opening slot, IYG received quite the warm welcome. Making two-steppers step as well as warming up the hardcore dancers. From the start, not a shy soul was in sight. The audience and fans were more than welcoming from the moment the music started playing, which always warms our hearts to see in the local music scene.

Distinguisher and Orthodox were next up in line. The energy of the room just kept increasing from there. You had fans for every band and the pit never missed a beat. Distinguisher and Orthodox kept the crowd moving and knew exactly how to work a crowd and how to raise hell. The Beehive music venue wasn’t ready for such a small, yet powerful tour package.

Don’t get us wrong, the place was shaking and you could tell just standing from blocks away from the venue. Bodies were moving, arms and legs were flying, the pit just kept getting bigger. Once Boundaries hit the stage, it was game-over. The energy that was already there, amplified by 10. Boundaries are no strangers in our parts of town and had one of the warmest welcomes of the night. The amount of die-hard fans singing along to every lyric at the top of their lungs is a moment you can’t purchase for any amount of money. The definition of “living in the moment” has never been so apparent.

And of course, last but not least, Varials. What a band to watch live. Showcasing their new vocalist, they were still at that point not hesitant to play some older tunes. People were singing along, buying merch, and taking photos like it was one of the world's wonders. Can you really blame them?

IYG is nothing but grateful to have this opportunity. To open up for a band that inspired the project to open up them is incredible. It’s truly a feeling of things “coming full circle.” The support that was shown not only for us, but the other bands as well, is something that we cherish so deeply that words cannot describe. To just be a part of such an official package is quite the honor.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/70111292022-07-09T13:21:12-06:002022-10-31T10:11:05-06:00Riverafest 2k22 is just 5 days away!
Riverafest 2k22 is just 5 days away! I think we can also all agree that it’s a common misconception that metalheads are not the nicest people or sometimes even worse. Of course, this is sadly a stereotype that’s commonly misconstrued from folks with an outside perspective.

I think we all know a metalhead if not multiple that prove this theory wrong and are, if not, some of the nicest people we know. Sadly, like any other community/group, there will be bad apples.

Some metal shows, admittingly, can get a little bit rowdy. Let’s be honest, most concerts do, right? Well, we are hoping that this will add that much more ammunition in proving that the metal community is actually one of the nicest and inclusive ones you can be a part of.

On December 17th of 2021, we will be hosting a benefit concert. There will be a $10 entry fee. There will also be free entry for any concertgoers who bring any new toys. We will be donating all proceeds to the Toys-for-Tots charity.

We are happy that we can offer the opportunity of giving while simultaneously getting to enjoy live music with our friends, family, and loved ones. It will be held at The Loading Docks (1489 Major Street East, Salt Lake City Utah.)

Remember, this is a community effort! We aim to bring back a kindhearted image to the metal community. While in hopes to be able to assist those who aren’t as fortunate to have some of the same resources as we do. Please bring a friend. Please bring a family member. And make sure they do the same thing!

We will also have some of those most diverse groups of Utah's metal scene. We are ecstatic to have openers such as Untamed Engine, The Sonder Complex, Moonteeth, and Lowlife. In Your Grave will be closing the night out.

Good music, good causes, and good vibes only. We are going all out with this one and will be bringing in some extra stage production for the venue night of the show to enhance the average concert experience. We truly want to make sure it’s a show you won’t forget even if you tried.

Would you believe us when we tell you that it only cost a little over $100 to build the set? Who would’ve known that a few tarps and 5 mini flood lights could go such a far way?

This kick ass, action packed music video was filmed at the one and only Loading Docks in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our in-house sound engineer, Scrappy, was so kind as to play the main part. Talk about delivering the roll, right? Played the part, looked the part, and sold it if you ask us.

The graffiti on the walls really helps with setting the scene. Holes punches in walls, shattered mirrors, and suicidal imagery really help you become immersed and help you forget that you’re watching a music video and make you feel like you’re watching a movie.

Taylor Barber, we can’t thank you enough for being a part of this project. If you liked the video then PLEASE go check out his band, “Left to Suffer.” This feature is truly one of a kind. Can you really call it a vocal performance if it ends up sounding like demonic growling? Taylor may look big on the outside but trust us when we tell you his voice is 10 times bigger.

Our first official music video was filmed with our good friend Tim Burton of Timbur Media. We really wanted to expand our horizons with this film. So, we decided to have Tyler Bromberg (Guitarist/Vocalist of Saint Raven) take over the filming and editing department with this one.

This one-man-band truly sets the definition of the term. Not only is his band, Saint Raven, one of the hardest hitters in our home state, but these individuals also know how to expand on their artistic vision. What a blast it is to work with a filmer and editor who is also in a band. It really helps you that much more when trying to obtain that vision you can’t quite nail on your own.

We know it’s a little dark. We understand the video is a little straight forward, but honestly, that was the point with this one. We didn’t want any of the focus on ourselves, hence all back clothing and simple scenery. We really wanted to focus on our main actor, Scrappy, and the feelings he did so well on portraying.

We wish we could’ve flown Taylor Barber out for this one, but sadly due to Covid-19, we were not able to bring him out for the shooting of this film. Luckily enough, our good friend Kevin Russel was able to fill in and completely knock the part out of the park. Their figures and builds are one in the same. We are still trying to convince our fans that this wasn’t the original vocalist shown in our Video.

Overall, we can’t thank everybody enough who helped us make this. Like anything else successful, it needed a team. Expenses of course started adding up fast. Day of filming was no different. Lots of sudden changes and last-minute decisions that needed work arounds. Thank you to our actors, fans, filmers/editors, and especially our fans. We wouldn’t be able to present what we worked so hard to make if it wasn’t for the support that we receive along the way.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/68315532021-11-01T08:55:00-06:002021-12-06T08:43:59-07:00In Your Grave 2021 Fall Tour Recap
It’s official. In Your Grave has finally gone on their first tour. It might have only been one weeklong, but each one of those seven days packed one hell of a punch. We can’t thank the bands enough who contributed to opening for our group. The talent we came across was something we did not expect.

Our ventures spanned across our lovely neighboring states. Starting in Idaho for three days. Moving over to Oregon for two days and our day off. Passing through California and Washington, we worked our way into Reno Nevada the night before our home turf show in Salt Lake City Utah for our “Hell Fest.”

As you can imagine, we had nothing but experiences and moments we got to share together. We met people along the way that we will not be able to forget. The hospitality of not only the artists we worked with but venue staff, sound engineers, and general concertgoers as well was something that we are more than grateful for.

Idaho. A state that we truly don’t think has enough recognition. It’s quiet, but their shows are louder than all hell. The first night was at “Servant’s Heart Entertainment” in Idaho falls. Talk about fancy. This place nails the DIY venue vibe on another level. The staff there is knowledgeable and damn, did they make us sound good. The night after, we were off to Ironwood Bar & Grill in Boise. This stage was no joke. This bar really knows how to make you feel like a rockstar. Good food, great drinks, and even better artists. These locals really know how to make outsiders feel at home. Last stop in Idaho was Cruiser Bar & Grill in Post Falls. This venue's sound system will not let you down. The local talent to accompany us was very humbling at that. The quality of music, sound, and service gave us hope for other bars and venues alike trying to offer live sound without being on a major corporation's budget.

Portland Oregon might have been a little bit rainy, but that didn’t stop the bands or fans from having a great time. Hawthorne Hideaway is the place to be if you need some live music and some good grub with some good drinks to wash it down. Our openers for the night really knew how to start a show and those fans really knew how to participate. Before our day off, we landed in Coos Bay, Oregon. Wow, our experience here was one of a kind. Cape Arago was so beautiful. Watching 100+ Sea Lions simultaneously barking at each other while diving in and out of the ocean was such a surreal view. Front Street Provisioners, you are hands down some of the rowdiest crows we have seen. Nothing but friendly faces and good vibrations.

After our time off in Cape Arago, we departed to Reno Nevada to our next venue, Alturas Bar. I feel bad for anybody in the area who missed that night. Reno’s local metal scene goes harder in the paint. We should've been opening for these bands, not the other way around. It was a plug that the Analog Bar (Alturas) was small and compact with a kicking system. What a friendly, yet fierce of a night.

Then of course, Salt Lake City. Homebase. Hell Fest. What a night to remember. We had not only some of our strongest locals in Utah, we had our openers from Reno who were also on tour help us close the night out for our Hell Fest as well. We can’t thank the folks who helped us along the way enough. We wouldn't be able to do this with our openers, sound engineers, door people, and merch people. Every piece of the puzzle counts. We really are as strong as our weakest link. We hope you do the same and show gratitude where it’s deserved.

Thank you not only the states we traveled through, but the listeners online who took time out of their days to consume our art. Nobody is forcing you, yet you chose too anyways. Every listen counts. Every listener matters. We hope our fans realize that we wouldn’t be here without them, and we appreciate them more than anything in the world. Without you, we wouldn’t be here. So, in return, we will make sure to give you all the best music we can provide!
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/67198582021-08-17T18:00:00-06:002023-03-12T09:02:05-06:00Circling the Drain - Out Now!
We assume if you're reading this, that you are agreeing to sign this visual waiver. In Your Grave is heavy, but this is by far the heaviest song we present you with. With three separate tempo changes, you can only imagine we get slower every time. With each time we slow down, you only feel yourself getting angrier as time slowly passes.

This is one of those songs where you need to be very mindful where you choose to stand in the crowd. We can't guarantee safety, as this track will invoke feelings of rage. Fists will fly, and blood will boil. For only two minutes and forty one seconds, the tune packs quite the punch. Almost like the small angry person everybody is afraid to fight.

You start with one of our signature intros. Toms and snares banging, setting the tension. Chugging guitars and bass to accompany the drums only add onto the feeling of rage. While getting ready for the ride, a haunting guitar lead shadows over your ears.

One of our staple sound verses is what comes next. A short build up brings you to the next chapter of our little adventure we share together. Slamming guitars, bass, and drums come right out of the gates with vocals that just make you feel feelings that you might have difficulties processing.

With a snare drum and china cymbal back-to-back rolling combo, you are hit with the first tempo change. We can just call this section the chorus. Listen closely, because these lyrics aren't just to sing along with. They are for you to remember, and soak in and carry with you for when you might need it else where. The chromatic riffs with the slapping drums set you up for an attack of sorts. First half is nice and fast, but slows down on the drums to start letting you know that we are about to shift gears.

Verse #2 approaches with a little bit more openess. A haunting instrumental of sorts comes back in action with a little less vocals. This is the part where you can't help but to bob your head and cross your arms. You wont be able to help but to feel tough, and ready to fight the next person who bumps into you or even just looks at you the wrong way.

We are now approaching our first downshift. Screeching guitars take you by the hand while driving drums force you into a very aggressive direction. Ignorant lyrics start to brainwash you as you subcutaneously get ready for an even heavier breakdown. Yes, you read that right, the tempo downshifts just one more time. We want to make sure we can to appeal to multiple "core" type fans. So if you like to jump and headbang, we got you covered. If you just want to fight somebody and just have some anger therapy, then this last break down will be just your cup of tea.

Just to stay on track, we reintroduce the roots of the song. The chorus comes right back, and yet, it feels so right. Usually people end their tracks once they reached the heaviest point of the song, but we couldn't help but to remind the listener that sometimes, a heavy-ass break down just needs a little bit of contrast to make you appreciate the smaller, finer things in life.

In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/67198052021-03-31T00:00:00-06:002021-08-17T18:18:37-06:00Red Dust - Out Now!
The time is now. After a long, grueling wait. We finally present to you the next chapter of In Your Grave's discography. The first 5 songs we released off of Enemy Lines we're just a bitter sweet taste to what was to come. With a pocket full of bangers, the sounds start to expand as genres begin to break borders.

With a slamming beginning, Red Dust dives right in with an explosive tom and snare intro. The accompanying chugging guitars and bass only add depth and darkness and you are getting prepared for the vicious verse that has yet to follow up.

Prepare yourself, as the verse you are hit with is not one that you are familiar with. With some silence and a little bit of tension, you sit there waiting to embark and join the madness. The lyrics are just simple enough to remember, but the instruments just sporadic enough to make you move.

Immediately after, you are hit in the face with phase #3, the circle pit phase. We aim to deliver diversity, and so here it is. As much as we love breakdown, we like to keep up the pace as well. We ask that you work on your cardio for this part, as the crowd will be more than demanding at this part and force you to keep up not only with us, but with the crowd as well.

Of course you can't forget your pre vocal breakdown. "It only hurts when I'm awake." Remember these 6 words. Because when you hear them, you know things are about to get violent. The chromatic guitar and bass patterns will stick in your head. You'll be air drumming along without even knowing. This is a breakdown you couldn't forget if you tried.

We are bringing 2014 back. Next up is break down part #2. Roaring group chants will embrace you and force you to learn our lyrics. These demonic chants will have you throwing up your horns, if not grabbing the microphone to sing with our handsome vocalist, Collin Anderson. Don't be afraid, he won't bite. If anything, take this opportunity to come on stage and show us what you got.

Verse #2 comes back getting you ready for the next phase. Only making you wonder what could possibly come next. Remember when we told you we were ready to break the borders and bend the genre barrier? Well for a song as heavy as this one, we couldn't help but to add an electronic breakdown just to let the audience and listeners cool down, just for a moment. With distorted drums and inaudible vocal samples, you forget where you are. Little hints and cameos of familiar riffs bless your ears to remind you that you are still experiencing an audible adventure.

Last but not least, the outro. Yes, you heard right, outro. With a rolling ride cymbal, a groove/doom metal vibe starts to take place completely throwing you for a loop. Never have you heard any sort of song writing like this from us before. Even new school metal/hardcore bands can keep it old-school. At the same time, everything ties back in. With the guitar and bass from the electronic section, you remember the whole point of why you're listening. The lyrics may be simple, but you won't be able to hold yourself back from singing along.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/65583812021-03-01T08:00:00-07:002021-03-01T08:00:02-07:00Thank You to everyone. While soldiers may think they are doing the good for the country. Sometimes, they're just used to please the selfish agenda they may have. Blinded by the leadership that they follow like sheep.

Jesse Jacobellis @jessejart made the video using the program, "flip a clip." He easily spent over 80 hours and the video was heavily inspired by HP Lovecraft, the author and father of "Cosmic Horror."

This was my first impression when I got to listen to ‘’In Your Grave’’. You know what they say about good music? It does not look for you. I found good music when I came across the rare sound and style of this band, a sound fueled by the love for what they do. Collin and Jose used to work for a couple of different group homes for kids and adults with disabilities. During their times at these places, they used their sounds to bring people with disabilities joy and go as far as demonstrating their songs to the deaf and the blind. Imagine having to resonate your sounds to a deaf person, that is what I call magical and that is what I would say ‘’In Your Grave’’ is all about.

The making of their new song MKULTRA is one to praise and applaud because of the work put in; with extra creativity infused, an electrifying sound and a clear message of revolution and better governance. Want to know how the duo made this classic? Let me guide you. So Collin and Jose decided to take their music experience to another level by being closed doors for 3 days straight trying to create magic, one they would later call the MKULTRA EXPERIENCE. Although they admit it was very uncomfortable for them at the time they were making the video, sometimes they were freezing in the room; but because they were determined to give back a big part of their lives, they would go through the rigorous process to deliver a classic and they did just that. If you would watch the recently released lyric video of the song, you would notice the time lapse footage in the background showing the process of making such a powerful song. It took the duo a lot of discipline to make this song, the only source of entertainment that they allowed themselves were a couple instruments, some Yu-Gi-Oh cards and some books; leaving the room only to use the bathroom and having to get food delivered to them. Being confined in a place for a long time can be very uncomfortable but if you want to make an art like this, an art that melts hearts, you really have to zone out to create.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/64777292020-11-14T12:06:22-07:002020-11-14T12:06:22-07:00"Mkultra" teaser announcement
You are not free. You are bound by their rules, their laws, and their will. Do you even care? Do they allow you to care? Of course not. Your mind is poisoned, tainted by the cancerous bullshit you have been fed since you were born. So, let’s fight fire with fire.

Let Mkultra free you.

In our latest release, Mkultra, we hope to grant you freedom from this false existence, bring with them hardcore, vocalized interrogations against the powers that be; deep, resonating drops that grant you respite from governmental existentialism; and hard bass beats and reverberating riffs the reframe your mind to those who see the world for what it is.

There is a lot of hard work and passion put into every one of our songs, with “Enemy Lines” being one of our personal favorites. It has been unreal to see all of you listening to it.

“Enemy Lines” is our musical interpretation on what it would be going through your mind while left behind enemy lines during an era of war and devastation. Each line and lyric were chosen to represent the thoughts and emotions rocketing through your head within each chaotic moment.

With that being said, we would like to reach out to you and ask if you could leave some feedback either here or in the YouTube comments section of the video. Your words are taken to heart, and allows us, as a band, to grow into something greater.

We sincerely thank you all for listening and for all the feedback you have given us.
In Your Gravetag:inyourgrave.com,2005:Post/64620012020-10-23T11:42:04-06:002020-10-23T11:42:45-06:00Enemy Lines comes out on October 31st
We're so excited to finally be close to releasing our very first song ever as a band. We have been working quite hard getting everything as perfect as we could. I think anyone that listens to this song and the upcoming E.P. will appreciate the stories and emotion behind it. The amount of people that suffer in war and sometimes get stuck behind enemy lines even when they come back home from all the psychological damage.
In Your Grave
